Community foundation announces $72,750 in grants for 32 recipients

The Helena Area Community Foundation has announced $72,750 in grants for 32 recipients in the 2024 combined grant cycle.

Funding for 2024 is provided by Helena Area Community Foundation (HACF) in the amount of $30,000; there $23,750 from Lewis and Clark County and $19,000 from the City of Helena.

This grant application period was Jan. 24 through Feb. 20. There 61 applicants, the HACF said Thursday.

Grant recipients for 2024 and their sources of funding are:

1. American Jobs for America’s Youth MT, $600 from HACF, $1,500 from City of Helena, Total Funding: $2,100

2. AWARE Lewis and Clark Co. Children’s Advocacy Center, $500 from HACF, $2,000 from Lewis and Clark County, Total Funding: $2,500

3. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Montana, $1,500 from HACF, $2,000 from Lewis and Clark County, Total Funding: $3,500
