Politicians, rail experts back passenger rail for southern Montana
MISSOULA, Mont. — Politicians and rail experts are backing the Big Sky Passenger Rail Authority spearheaded by Missoula Commissioner Dave Strohmaier.
They discussed the benefits of rail service at the Montana Passenger Rail Summit on Thursday, including improved economy, infrastructure and connectivity.
“Safe, reliable, inner-city transport can help bolster small businesses, can help address climate change concerns, encourage community connections and so much more,” said Governor Steve Bullock.
