Wyoming elected officials react to Liz Cheney getting removed from house leadership position
CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) – Wyoming Congresswoman Liz Cheney was removed from her leadership position in the house this week. A couple of Wyoming elected officials say how it will affect Wyomingites.
Sen. Chris Rothfuss, Senate District 9, said he doesn’t agree with many of Cheney’s policies but commends her for voting in a different way than her Republican colleagues. “I love to see those types of hard votes because it shows a depth of character care of integrity that we need from policymakers,” Rothfuss said.
