Public events planned as Greater Helena Gives underway Thursday

The community-centered fundraiser Greater Helena Gives, which began 8 p.m. Wednesday, is slated to run through the day and end 8 p.m. Thursday.

There are 113 local nonprofits signed up for 2024’s giving day, which is already another record broken for the online fundraiser hosted by the Helena Area Community Foundation.

In 2023 this event raised over $275,000 for 110 nonprofits.

During the event, people can donate through the Greater Helena Gives website, https://www.greaterhelenagives.org/, to multiple nonprofits at once, with some of the donors and sponsors pledging matching funds.

Donations can be made anytime during the giving period and the site will remain open for donations through the weekend.
