Bradley Steps Down as GOP Executive Director, Newcombe Announced

The Montana Republican Party announced a leadership change as Danielle Bradley (Tribble) has stepped down from her role as Executive Director after serving since 2021.

Bradley led the party through a series of historic successes, including the 2022 election cycle when Montana regained a second congressional seat, electing two Republican members to the U.S. House of Representatives. That year also saw Republicans secure a supermajority in the state legislature for the 2023 session.

Most notably, Bradley oversaw operations during the pivotal 2024 election cycle, where the MTGOP defeated former U.S. Senator Jon Tester and achieved single-party dominance in Montana—a feat not seen in nearly a century.

Reflecting on her tenure, Bradley expressed gratitude for her time with the party.
“It has been an honor to serve as the Executive Director of the Montana Republican Party the last three and a half years. I am incredibly grateful for Chairman Kaltschmidt trusting in me to help achieve these historic victories,” Bradley said. “The Republican Party in Montana has been tremendously successful under his leadership, and I look forward to seeing the organization build on our accomplishments.”

MTGOP Chairman Don “K” Kaltschmidt praised Bradley’s contributions in a statement.
“Danielle is one of the best people I have had the pleasure of working with over the years. We worked together daily to achieve the goals that we set for the Party, and her work as the Executive Director was exemplary,” Kaltschmidt said. “She was a great leader, a team member, and she will be sorely missed. She will do great in whatever she decides to do going forward.”

Chairman Kaltschmidt has named Tyler Newcombe as Bradley’s successor. Newcombe brings political and management experience to his new role, where he will oversee the party’s operations and implement Kaltschmidt’s vision to support Republican candidates across the state.

Newcombe shared his enthusiasm for the role in a statement.
“I am grateful for the opportunity to help build upon the great victories the Montana Republican Party has had. I am looking forward to continuing to build a strong party that is prepared to deliver wins for Republican candidates up and down the ballot.”

The MTGOP enters this new chapter with a focus on maintaining its recent momentum and bolstering its position in Montana politics.
