Associated Students of MSU announces 2026-27 election results

Montana State University’s student government, the Associated Students of MSU, held its general election this week to choose student leaders for the 2026-27 academic year.

A total of 963 students cast ballots for a voter turnout of 6.34%. The results are as follows, with winners marked in bold type.

President and vice president

  • Benjamin Wilson and Josey Blazer — 510 votes 
  • Izzy Watson and Molly Forney — 406 votes  

College of Agriculture (two elected)

  • Kate Johnson — 71 votes 
  • Jessica Henderson — 71 votes
  • Emelia Schairer — 63 votes
  • Stella Rapson — 55 votes
  • Miller Belitz — 17 votes

College of Arts and Architecture (one elected)

  • Jaylyn Thaut — 56 votes

Norm Asbjornson College of Engineering (four elected)

  • Hannah Ferguson — 169 votes 
  • Kershaw Mellott — 165 votes 
  • Dakota Wedding — 159 votes 
  • Lennox Niece — 147 votes

College of Letters and Science (four elected)

  • Luis Razo — 204 votes 
  • Grace Koeller — 185 votes
