Annual sessions make sense for Montana
State lawmakers will gather for an unusual meeting for a week in January. They will undergo some training and attend scheduled interim committee meetings. But the main reason they will be getting together is part of a study on whether the state Legislature should meet every year instead of every two years.
The study really isn’t necessary. It’s time. It’s time for legislators to meet annually.
