Lewis and Clark County approves sale of Journey Home to Many Rivers for $500K
Lewis and Clark County has approved an agreement to sell the vacated Journey Home facility for $500,000 to Many Rivers Whole Health Inc. to be used to provide behavioral health services in the county, rousing the building from a 4 1/2-year slumber.
The Journey Home, an adult crisis stabilization facility, closed Jan. 10, 2020.

The buy-sell agreement for the structure that served as a mental health crisis intervention facility at 45 E. 16th St. was approved Thursday by the commission and puts a building that has been mostly dormant since 2020 back to use.
Great Falls-based Many Rivers Whole Health and the county both want to continue to use the building to provide behavioral health services to Lewis and Clark County residents, according to the agreement in the commission packet.
A memo to the commission notes the appraised value of the building is $780,000, however the $500,000 purchase price reimburses the county for its original capital contributions for its construction. The sale price includes all the property inside the building.
