Gov.-elect Gianforte names Heggem as chief of staff
HELENA — Christine Heggem has been named chief of staff for Gov.-elect Greg Gianforte, having served the same role in his congressional office since 2017, it was announced Tuesday.
“I’ve had the pleasure of working with Chris over the last three years, and look forward to bringing this Montanan back home to serve as my chief of staff,” Gianforte, a Republican now serving in the U.S. House of Representatives, said in a news release, adding she brings “a steady hand and strong voice to every team she’s a part of.”
