Gianforte, congressman and candidate for governor, does some multitasking
U.S. Rep. Greg Gianforte takes pride in the fact that since he’s been in Congress, he has not spent one weekend in Washington.
The Republican’s longer-term plan to extend that streak: Run for governor of Montana.
Gianforte was in Anaconda and Butte Monday, part of a several-day western Montana swing that includes trips to Missoula, Kalispell and Eureka. The trip is “a mix” of fact-finding for the job he has and campaigning for the job he wants, Gianforte said Monday after touring St. James Healthcare with CEO Jay Doyle and other hospital officials.
