Gianforte Campaign Raises $1.1 Million in 60 days
Governor Greg Gianforte has raised more than $1.1 million in the 60 days since he announced his bid for reelection on January 16 according to a release from his campaign.
“With Governor Gianforte’s pro-family, pro-jobs, pro-business policies and his strong record of protecting our Montana way of life, Montanans are overwhelmingly supporting Governor Gianforte’s reelection, providing him with record support in only 60 days,” Gianforte campaign manager Jake Eaton said.
According to the release 92% of contributions to the governor’s reelection came from Montana, including donations from each of the state’s 56 counties donating.The campaign projects to have more than $1 million cash on hand.
The reporting period is from January 1 to March 15, 2024 and candidates must file their reports with the Commissioner of Political Practices by March 20 deadline.
A mid-February survey of likely Montana voters revealed 52% of voters would vote for Governor Gianforte, with only 30% voting for Democrat Ryan Busse.

The Busse campaign has not yet release any figures for this reporting period. During the last quarter of 2023 Busse disclosed raising $262,349, spending $258,241, and carrying $36,473 in debt.
