Donald Trump Jr. pens op-ed endorsing Montana Republicans
Donald Trump Jr., the president’s son, released an op-ed piece Monday endorsing three Montana Republicans in the 2020 race: U.S. Sen. Steve Daines for re-election, Auditor Matt Rosendale for U.S. House and current Congressman Greg Gianforte for governor.
Trump Jr. also made an appearance in Helena over the weekend to stump for Gianforte, who is facing state Attorney General Tim Fox and state Sen. Al Olszewski in the Republican primary for governor.
Rosendale also has primary challengers: Secretary of State Corey Stapleton, former GOP Chair Debra Lamm of Livingston, rancher Joe Dooling of Helena and Corvallis schools Superintendent Tim Johnson.
