Dems’ Big Mistake: Texas Is Not Turning Blue
Democrats had high hopes going into the presidential election of making significant gains in Texas on the national and state levels, hoping to flip the state from red to purple if not blue. But those hopes were dashed — and dashed decisively as Texas had one of its biggest voter turnouts and showed it is still very much a red state with Democrats not even picking up a seat in the state legislature while President Donald Trump dominated.
