Two South Dakota counties remain without a coronavirus case four months into pandemic
Four months into the COVID-19 pandemic, there are still two places where there’s yet to be a confirmed case in South Dakota.
The handful of counties without a confirmed coronavirus case in South Dakota has been dwindling in recent weeks. Harding, Perkins and Potter counties were the last three counties without a case on Friday. But then Perkins had its first case over the weekend and now only Harding and Potter remain without a confirmed case.
County officials say they’re surprised they haven’t had a case yet and they believe it’s only a matter of time before there’s a positive.
