Trump Discussed Supreme Court Decision With Montana AG Tim Fox
Just days before President Trump made his announcement that Judge Brett Kavanaugh was going to be his pick to replace Justice Kennedy on the United States Supreme Court, he was in Montana and according to Montana Attorney General Tim Fox, Trump was asking for input.
“Interestingly enough, when the president was in Great Falls and spoke at the rally, afterwards I got to visit with him and he asked me who I thought he should pick for the Supreme Court, this was obviously before he made his pick. I told him that the finalists he had were all excellent picks. It’s kind of interesting when the president of the United States asks for your opinion.”
Fox says he has a lot of personal experience with Kavanaugh and talked about him with Trump specifically.
