South Dakota Attorney General Hosts Alliance Meeting in Deadwood
South Dakota Attorney General Marty Jackley is set to host an Attorney General Alliance (AGA) Working Group Meeting from October 23 to 25 in Deadwood.
“It is an honor to host Attorneys General from both parties here in South Dakota,” said Attorney General Jackley, who previously served as the Chairman of the AGA. “While each of us faces different challenges, we share a common interest in collaborating to protect our states and citizens.”
Approximately 20 Attorneys General are expected to attend the meetings at the Deadwood Mountain Grand. Key topics on the agenda include a Mental Health Initiative, Cybersecurity, Organized Retail Crime, Sports Betting and Online Gambling, Human Trafficking, and Cannabis Law.
The AGA’s mission is to provide educational opportunities for its 51-member offices and facilitate collaboration on emerging legal and public policy issues.
