County hopes to put Law and Justice Center on November ballot
As part of the Nov. 5 election, Gallatin County plans to ask voters to approve a bond to fund a new Law and Justice Center.
The new building would include the Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office, Gallatin County District Court, county attorney’s offices, youth court services, victim services and the clerk of district court.
The county plans to use a 2016 proposal for the new center but will spend the next several months developing an updated cost estimate for the project. The county also plans to meet with county departments to determine how their needs have changed as the county has continued to grow.
