Corvallis teen dies following Highway 93 crash

A Corvallis teen injured in a single-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 93 near Darby last weekend has died.

The unnamed 19-year-old woman succumbed on Wednesday to injuries sustained in the crash, according to a statement from the Montana Highway Patrol.

She was driving south on Highway 93 when the front right tire blew on her Ford F-150 truck, according to a report released by law enforcement. The vehicle ran off the right side of the road and began to slide and rotate clockwise to the driver’s side. The truck then went onto a driveway and hit a culvert. The vehicle then began to roll on the driver’s side, crashing into trees and a fence before coming to a rest.

Roads were clear and dry at the time of the crash on Saturday, according to MHP.
