Attorney General Knudsen Reappoints Two Members to Gaming Advisory Council
Montana Attorney General Austin Knudsen has reappointed Scott Aspenlieder and Garret McFarland to the state’s Gaming Advisory Council (GAC).
Aspenlieder, of Billings, has served on the GAC since 2021 and currently holds the position of chair, representing the public at large. He also serves on the Billings City Council and owns Performance Engineering.
McFarland, of Miles City, has been a GAC member since 2005 and represents local government on the council. He is secretary of the Miles City Community College Board of Trustees.
Established in 1989, the Gaming Advisory Council provides guidance on public policy matters related to gaming, including amendments to gambling statutes, rule modifications, oversight of the Gambling Control Division, and clarifications of existing regulations.
