Your Donations Help Refugee and Immigrant Families in Missoula

It’s been crazy to see people posting pictures and videos of snowflakes around Missoula today. Oh man, I’m not sure I can handle all of that yet! My body isn’t ready to go from shorts and t-shirts of last week’s 80-degree weather to sweatshirts and jackets that were needed today. If the breezy and chilly day had you reeling a bit, just think about those that are experiencing a Montana winter for the first time.

Are you familiar with the work of Soft Landing Missoula? Their website explains that they “strive to help Missoula, MT be a welcoming, supportive and informed community that can assist refugees and immigrants to integrate and thrive.” The organization is holding its fifth annual winter clothes drive to help families prepare for the cold weather that’s headed our way.

They’re accepting donations at their office (939 Stephens Ave, Suite C) Mon-Thur 10 AM – 4 PM, and Friday from 10 AM – 2 PM.
