There isn’t much relief in store for the regulars on the World of Outlaws Late Model Series tour, either.
The country’s top late model circuit will hit River Cities Speedway on Friday, and the stop will be part of a four-race stretch over six days that covers three states.
The Outlaws raced in Superior, Wis., on Tuesday and are scheduled for River Cities on Friday; Fergus Falls, Minn., on Saturday before wrapping up the swing Sunday in Menomonie, Wis.
Last weekend, the Outlaws raced a two-day, big-money show at the Jackson Motorplex in Jackson, Minn.
Brandon Sheppard leads the WoO LMS tour and holds a 68-point advantage over Chris Madden.
Madden, however, has four wins to Sheppard’s three, but the New Berlin, Ill., driver has more podium finishes this season than any other driver (13).
Also, Sheppard, who won in Superior on Tuesday, likes racing at The Bullring, where he won last season. He’s won the past two WoO LMS events at RCS.
