With Primary Looming, Missoula Officials say Your Vote is Secure

The Missoula municipal primary election is this Tuesday, September 14.

The ballots from the mail-only election will be counted on Tuesday, and Missoula voters will learn the candidates for the general election in November for Missoula mayor and City Council Ward 6.

The Montana Secretary of State’s Office has provided important information for those who have not yet voted or have registered to vote.

Click this link to learn your voting status and to register to vote, keeping in mind that the Montana Legislature recently ended same-day voter registration. All new registrations must be completed before noon on Monday.

Those who wish to vote in person can do so until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the Elections Center on North Russell.

Missoula County Elections Administrator Bradley Seaman said recently that every effort will be made to ensure Missoula County residents of a fair and transparent election.
