Trump Returning to Montana for Kalispell Campaign Rally
KALISPELL—President Donald Trump is returning to Montana next week for a campaign rally in Kalispell as Republicans look to boost congressional candidate Aaron Flint in the race for Montana’s Western Congressional District.
Trump is scheduled to appear Wednesday at the Majestic Valley Arena, where he will campaign alongside Flint, the Republican nominee seeking to succeed outgoing U.S. Rep. Ryan Zinke.
Doors will open to the public at 3 p.m., with the program scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. Several Montana Republican elected officials are expected to speak before Flint addresses the crowd.
Trump is scheduled to take the stage at 6:15 p.m.
Flint is facing Democrat Sam Forstag in the general election. The race has drawn significant attention as Republicans seek to hold the western Montana seat.
Trump last held a major campaign rally in Montana in 2024, when he traveled to the state to support Republican Tim Sheehy’s successful campaign for the U.S. Senate.
This year, Montana voters are also choosing a successor to retiring Republican Sen. Steve Daines. Republican Kurt Alme, Democrat Alani Bankhead, independent Seth Bodnar and Libertarian Kyle Austin are competing for the open Senate seat.
Trump’s return to Montana comes as campaigns enter the final stretch before Election Day and both parties intensify efforts to turn out voters in the state’s most competitive races.
