Montana Reported 1,500 New COVID-19 Cases, 41 Cases in Missoula

As of Tuesday morning, Montana has confirmed 49,398 positive COVID-19 cases. Montana’s COVID-19 case tracking map shows 1,500 new confirmed cases. There are currently 19,750 active cases in the state.

Montana reported 7,493 cases last week and 6,363 the week before. 2,369 cases have been reported in the past two days.

Missoula County has had a total of 3,641 confirmed cases and 1,044 cases are currently active. You can find the current numbers from the Missoula City-County Health Department right here.

According to state statistics, 29,105 Montana residents have recovered from COVID-19 and 456 people are currently hospitalized.

The number of tests increased by 10,494 over the previous 24-hour reporting period, for a new cumulative state-wide total of 583,828.

The state COVID-19 related death toll increased from 422 on Monday to 543 on Tuesday, according to state health officials.
