Man on Probation Gets Caught With Meth and Paraphernalia

On Wednesday, Missoula Police officers responded to a report of a male slumped over in a vehicle. The officer located the reported vehicle in the 1200 block of Waverly Street. Police Public Information Officer Lydia Arnold explains.

“A resident called 911 to report a person sitting in a vehicle that they did not recognize and stated the male in the vehicle was slumped over,” Arnold said. “The caller was concerned about the male’s wellbeing. Officers and medical arrived on scene. Officers made contact with the male who was in the driver’s seat. The male, Leon Peterson-Wall, told officers he was traveling and had pulled over. Officers observed the male to show indicators of impairment. Medical did check to male to make sure he wasn’t experiencing a medical emergency and then cleared the scene.”

The officers learned that Peterson-Wall had a no bond probation and parole warrant from Choteau. An officer contacted the on-call Probation and Parole Officer who said that Peterson-Wall has absconded from Probation & Parole after recently being released from the Cascade County Jail.
