Intermountain interim CEO relieved of duties, board tells staff

Interim Chief Executive Officer Gary Larcenaire is no longer with Intermountain, a spokeswoman for the nonprofit behavioral and mental health facility said Friday.
The board of directors on Thursday relieved Larcenaire of his duties while it searches for a new chief executive officer. The board announced the news to staff in an email.
“The board feels confident that this is the best direction for the organization,” the Rev. Tim Lanham, chief governance officer with the Intermountain board, wrote in an email to staff on Friday.
”We are grateful to Gary for his time at Intermountain and wish him the best in his next endeavors,” the email stated.
Efforts to contact Larcenaire Friday night were unsuccessful.
Lanham said in the email to staff that the board is working to finalize a leadership plan over the next several days and will announce those plans early next week.
