Highway patrol: Suspect vehicle identified in I-90 pedestrian fatal

Authorities have identified a vehicle of interest in an I-90 hit-and-run that killed a pedestrian on Friday, according to Montana Highway Patrol.
At about 1:45 a.m., a pedestrian was walking west on the interstate near the exit for Bonner, according to a crash report. A semi-truck, traveling in the right lane, struck and killed the person near mile post 109. The semi kept driving west, the report stated.
As of Saturday morning, the agency identified the vehicle of interest in Missoula, MHP Public Information Office Jay Nelson said in a phone call. Investigators are aware of the person driving the suspect semi and are working to connect with that individual, Nelson said. Search warrants have been obtained by officials.
