Helena-area journalist to talk about new book ‘Montana Grit’ at library Friday

The 2023 Stephen Ambrose Memorial Lecture at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 3, in the Lewis & Clark Library presents Helena-area journalist and writer Marga Lincoln on her book “Montana Grit: Ten Unsung Heroes Who Dared to Make a Difference” (Farcountry Press, 2023).

Her passion for highlighting the stories of everyday heroes led to her writing “Montana Grit.” With extensive research and firsthand accounts, Lincoln dives into the lives of 10 remarkable Montanans who fearlessly fought for justice, leaving an enduring legacy. Through their trials and triumphs, these unsung heroes inspire readers to confront adversity and stand up against injustice.
