Frank Borman, Apollo astronaut and longtime Montana resident, dies

Frank Borman, commander of Apollo 8, the first manned spacecraft to orbit the moon, who later set up a ranch in Custer, died Tuesday, according to the Wall Street Journal.

Borman lives in Billings and on a family ranch at Custer.
