East Helena police seek help in finding missing teen

The East Helena Police Department issued a Missing and Endangered Person Advisory late Saturday for 15-year-old Ryan Hardesty.

He is Native American, 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs 120 pounds. He has brown hair and eyes. He was last seen wearing black skinny jeans, a gray long-sleeved shirt, white and black shoes, and has shoulder length hair in a bun.

He has a scar above his eyebrow, a scar above his chin and a scar near his cheek, authorities said.

He had been reported missing Friday then located Saturday. 

Ryan was being taken home by his parents when he jumped out of the moving vehicle, police said. He was already wet and possibly hypothermic; he may also have injured himself jumping out of the car.

There is concern for his health and well-being, authorities said.
