Colorado man facing felony charges following Augusta fight

A 29-year-old man from Greeley, Colorado, is facing felony charges of assault with a weapon, criminal endangerment and tampering with evidence following a fight outside of an Augusta bar.
According to charging documents filed Monday, Brendan David Caulder got into a physical altercation with a woman outside of the Buckhorn Bar, 120 Main St. in Augusta.
Witnesses and victims told Lewis and Clark County sheriff’s deputies the woman confronted Caulder in the parking lot regarding Caulder throwing a drink and cursing at a friend of hers.
The woman told deputies Caulder knocked a drink out of her hand, bumped her with his shoulder and tried to strike her with a closed fist, at which point some men came out of the bar to intervene and the woman left to call 911.
One man told deputies Caulder began attacking him after he intervened, striking him in the jaw and the abdomen several times.

After Caulder fled the scene, the man said he noticed holes in his shirt and blood. He said Caulder stabbed him. The man was later seen at a medical clinic and received 18 stitches to close the wounds, authorities
